Image downloader and converter for Chrome
Find a page-declared source, choose your format, preview generated output, and save one image or a bounded batch—right in Chrome.
The Store listing is not live yet. No account, ads, or extension analytics in the current release candidate.
A predictable workflow
Pick the exact page element, use the right-click shortcut, or scan the bounded sources the page declares.
Compare formats and dimensions, filter the Gallery, or select several files for a bounded batch.
Keep Original or create PNG, JPG, WebP, static GIF, alpha BMP, or a PNG-backed ICO locally.
The foundation
ImageSave does not upload saved images, image URLs, filenames, browsing history, or usage analytics to an ImageSave-owned service.
Read the privacy boundaryDetection, generated previews, conversion, and editing run in the extension.
The extension does not ask you to register or sign in.
No ad code, affiliate injection, or watermark in the current candidate.
No runtime analytics SDK or developer-owned image service.
Built for how you save
Start with the fast path. Open Studio only when the page or the job calls for more control.
Choose the source
Compare responsive choices declared by the same page element. It is a source relationship, not visual matching or a promise of an original.
Find the files
Filter by size, dimensions, format, orientation, source kind, or URL. Hidden selections remain selected and truthfully counted.
Choose the output
Keep the server file or make supported static output locally. Animation, transparency, and format limits are explained before work starts.
Know the output
Generated PNG, JPG, and WebP previews can show pixels, dimensions, type, bytes, and destination from the same one-use encoded asset.
Repeat work
Reuse format, quality, JPG background, resize, filename, and Downloads-relative folder choices without an account.
Lazy pages
Start a bounded Watch session when a page reveals sources as you move. ImageSave does not auto-scroll or click the page for you.
Difficult sources
Supported CSS backgrounds, inline SVG, canvas pixels, video posters, data URLs, and blob sources get clear source or fallback labels.
Before you install
Not to an ImageSave-owned service. Conversion and editing run in the extension. The selected source website may still receive a normal request when Chrome or ImageSave needs the image bytes.
No. The current extension candidate has no account or sign-in. Preferences and recipes stay in local extension storage.
No. Restricted Chrome pages, inaccessible frames, expired blobs, protected media, tainted canvas, and authenticated requests can prevent access. ImageSave explains supported limits and fallbacks.
PNG, JPG, WebP, one-frame static GIF, alpha-preserving BMP, and a PNG-backed single-size ICO. It can also keep a supported source as Original. There is no TIFF or AVIF encoder.
Yes, within documented safety and memory limits. Studio can save selected files separately or build a local ZIP when those sources can be safely materialized.
